Hans Heinz Stuckenschmidt--German music critic and musicologist. He attended Schoenberg's classes on musical analysis (Berlin, 1931-1933). He wrote a comprehensive biography of Schoenberg (1974). He worked for numerous journals and newspapers, including Aufbruch, Auftakt, Berliner Zeitung am Mittag, Bohemia, Frankfurter allgemeine Zeitung, Melos, Modern Music, Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Neuer Tag, Neue Zeitung, Prager Tageblatt, and Stimmen. He was married to the soprano Margot Hinnenberg-Lefèbre, who performed many of Schoenberg's works.
